Wedded Bliss!

So I picked up my wheels last night, and wow, they are nice!
Woo, I am still in shock, they are very beautiful!
Picking up the wheels was truely a journey. Since my van is dead, I took the Lexus to grab the wheels. My friends wanted to tag along (David, Lee, Albert) so we made a night of the trip because afterall, it was a Friday night and it’s an hour and a half south of here…plus San Jose has a lot of women!
David, Lee, and Bert dropped of their cars at Ray’s house and piled up in my car. I was surprised because Ray changed his mind at the last minute and decided to tag along too. What does that have to do with the wheels? Well now I have a Lexus full with 5 passengers, and I have to cram 4 huge wheels which are mounted with rubber! I was expecting to fit 3 in the trunk but I was wrong.
We ate some chicken over at University Chicken off of The Alameda in Santa Clara and watched Borat. Might I add that it was a great movie minus one truely, TRUELY, homosexual part. But, the movie was still great!
We headed over to Van’s Shop, One Ton Garage, and said what’s up, checked out a drift car he was building that you guys will all see for the 2k7 season, and picked up the wheels. 3am rolls around, we decided to head out. We started to load my wheels into the car and only TWO fit in the trunk, haha!
We shoved one of the wheels in the footrest and since Ray is short, he just sat indian style on the seat and rested his legs on the tire–he said it was comfortable, it must have been because he knocked out through the entire ride home haha. Lee rode bitch seat with his STANK feet resting on the center console. David took the other wheel on his lap. It was pretty funny because Albert, who is 6 foot and some change, was in the front seat crammed all the way to the front (I wish I had some pictures of the guys in the car, haha). My friend Van from the shop told me that I am a bad friend and that I should make two trips to pickup the wheels, but my friends knew what they were getting into and since they were too lazy to drive, they can’t complain!
Needless to say, all I heard on the hour and half drive home was a lot of bickering about David losing circulation in his legs and not being able to move his feet haha! Bert kept tossing around in the front because his legs were crammed, it didn’t look comfortable at all.
We got back to Ray’s place around 4:30am and we headed home because it was getting late.
It was a great night! My wheels are sleeping in my laundry room! Yay!
