Project 350Z Updates

posted by Prashant on February 18th, 2007

Ok so yes, I know it has been ages since I have updated my blog with any news about the project. Without getting into all the boring details and making this post 50 pages long, I have simply put, been busy. Well, kinda…

I went boarding a few weeks ago so of course I had to spend some cash on some new equip! I picked up a Burton Twin Retro from Sierra Snowboard. The trip probably set me back a good $600.00 but it was a blast!

Anyways, the air suspension is installed already, just needs a few little tweaks here and there but it’s done.

I picked up some Cusco upper control arms for the front camber adjustment. They are actually a pretty nice piece. The reason why I didn’t modify the stock ones was because of the fact that they are made out of cast aluminum—not the best to be cutting and rewelding back together.

The one good thing I did like about the stockers was the fact that they were quite light in comparison to the Cuscos. But oh well, no biggie!

I was actually impressed by the product even before opening the package! The package itself was pretty fancy with a full color outer skin—fancy, fancy :)

Here are some shots of the product itself:

And some shots of the welds. They could be nicer visually but that’s of no concern to me. As long as there is good penetration, I don’t care.

Well yes, I have some other stuff that I need to get to so I will have to end this here. More updates SOON I hope!
